Ouch!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: Temporary Re-bulid till I get money for a new body
Hi Guys I just want to ask one question....
My vans body is badly rusted which cannot be repaired ,the suspension is damaged all round, I need to service the to diffs as the front one is leaking. I always give my van its regular service some times before even 5000km I change oil, plugs, oil and fuel filter and etc.
The van Is mechanical sound. its start on the turn.
Chassis got surface rust
I really love this van but Ive been thinking if I sell this van as is Im gonna get nothing out of it. If strip and sell parts maybe I'll make some money.
So the options are KEep the van and build it up slowly which is gonna cost me about R70 000+?
Sell the parts and etc And look for a hilux in the range of R30 000 - R45 000 and do small repairs on it?
This van took me places I never saw before and she still moves. Im dying to build her up but im a student thats not working. Im still struggling to find work. its very sad to see her get badly rusted.
Any suggestions on what I should do guys? :-(

I know it may seem as though you would be overcapitalising but you don't have to worry about finance charges you would have had to pay if you had bought a vehicle on HP. So if you end up spending another R80k on it then you would pretty much be where it would have cost you to buy one on HP.Rider wrote:Steve from mboza quoted me R25 000 d/c body and load bin
