Wat sal julle voorstel is die beste tipe en graad olie vir n Kzte 4x4 gearbox?

Het my Hilux ook op Castrol BOT 180 gesit en die warm reuk op lang pad was daarna weg. Maak net seker GL 4 / GL 5

Sal goed wees om te hoor wat HOPPY hier te se het? hy het onlangs my vooras herbou (KZ-TE) en het self die olie vervang. Ek wonder wat het daar ingegaan....? Ek vertrou hom either way!

Castrol BOT 130 het nou 'n nuwe naam. Castrol Syntrans Multivehicle. Presies dieselfde specs as BOT130. Dit is 'n volle sintetiese 75W-90 API GL4 olie

Het die afgelope naweek die olie in my D4D se ratkas en oordra ratkas met Castrol Syntrans Multivehicle vervang en daar is 'n groot verbetering in hoe die ratte wissel. Ek kan dit definitief aanbeveel.

can that oil be used in a 2.7 box also?

I'm quite certain that it can. I haven't seen the specs on the gearbox of the 2.7 but I'm almost 100% sure that it must be 75W 90 API GL4. Just check in your car manual. Remember that the Diff needs API GL5 i.e Castrol EPX 90 or similar. It does not appear as if Castrol makes a Synthetic Diff oil.

Ismail - the Bot 130 is great in the 2.7 gearbox!
Smooottthhhh shifts!

Other guys also swear by Caltex Easyshift - not availible in Lichtenburg though.

jip.GL 5 will corrode your syncronisers.GL4 for the box and GL5 for the diffs.I know some workshops use GL5 for the box and diffs
