Hi David

Hoe oud is jou bakkie op die ouer mod het jy nie n probleem as jy net die cats uithaal nie
Nuwer mod skroef hul mini cats op (dis n dummy vir die comper om te sien)

Baie ouens wat dit vir jou kan doen
Powerflow
Noise boys
Super quick

Hoop jy kom reg

I have a '07 V6.

Went to SupaQuick in February this year to get the exhaust sorted.

They cleaned the front cats, removed the second set, fitted mini cats (to set my heart at ease), fitted a freeflow box at the rear and removed that stupid piece that drops down below the vehicle... All in all it cost just under R2000. Mini cats were R850 each.

Just remember that the V6 will now make a bit more noise than before. (Mine was renamed Rottweiller by one of SWAMBO's co-workers)

I know that the mini cats can be left on the first Vigo's ('05 - '08), not the sure about the '09 - '11, but they are a must on the post '11 face lift.

Jammer Quentin,

Hi David,

The price included 2 mini cats. They gave me a discount, because I told the salesman that my budget was R2000.

I went to SupaQuick in Menlyn (Pretoria).

Engine light came on after about 10km, drove another 10km while the light was on.
Park it at home and after dinner I decided to go on the highway to see if the engine light is still on and if the engine went into limp mode.
Light was off and has never had any problems or lights that came on since.

i have done my 2009, I'm not impressed at all, I would rather go back to the original, it's now noisy and my consumption went up from 13L/100 to 16 L/100, I would like to install the standard system again. M2CW
It cost me way over R4500.00

Gerrie, to be honest, I would like to put back the original silencer.
The free flow box is loud, very loud.
My fuel consumption improve a little from 7.2 km/l to 8.0 km/l on the open road, but in town if has decrease from 5.5 km/l to 5.1 km/l. Maybe it is due to a heavier right foot???

Tiaan the original box sounds like an empty tin and the free flow sounds mean outside but very noisy inside the vehicle and makes me crazy on the long road.
to go back to origanal including cats is far to expensive. now they ar etalking about a chip and that is even more expensive, solves alittle fuel but the noise stays.
