Morning guys.
I have a question - it's been bothering me since I got the bakkie...
Sometime, at irregular intervals, the clutch would suddenly starts to bite when 3/4 released. It's like that last few MM's before it completely engage it would bite and then you can feel the whole drive train shudder.
Weird thing is it does not have a pattern - long/short trips, hot/cold days. Doesn't matter. It would start doing it and the next time you drive it would be back to normal.
Anyone have any idea? My clutch on the way out?
2011 (2012 Facelift) 3.0 with 130 000km. (Bought it at 110 000, so no idea how it was treated before)

Re: 3.0 D4D Clutch questions
Unforunately it appears that the clutch is a problem on these vehicles - do an internet search and you will find the evidence.
You are lucky to have gotten to that mileage, assuming it is still the original clutch.

I got to 245000 Ks with the original clutch. Here is the whole story on the clutches according to my opinion.
