Not sure what the cost would be, but you could have the old one recon'd with a new slip-joint.

Andy, I got a quote R1988 for slip joint and new universal. Which is not to bad, then it will be new.

I think I would rather go that route Nico, and then you have peace of mind as well. You could be lucky with a 2nd hand one that's in fair condition and doesn't need balancing, but you never know in advance.
