Diesel Gauge val as Brights aankom - raad asb!

More! Ek het n probleem met my 2003 KZTE dubbel kajuit. Elke keer as ek die brights aansit sak die diesel naald. As ek die bakkie vol maak wys die tenk vol. Sodra ek die brights aansit val die diesel naald na half toe. As ek dan dimm kom die naald weer op. Enige raad sal waardeer word. Ekt nie n idee waar om te begin soek nie.

Gauge is nie foutief nie asook nie tenk sender eenheid nie. Probleem ontstaan dat êrens word daar deur die 'brights' krag getrek van die gauge se stroombaan of krag toevoer.

Dat dit net met brights gebeur laat my wonder of jy spots op het en waarvandaan kom die krag toevoer vir hulle. Hulle behoort deur 'n relay gekoppel te wees maar waarvandaan kom die hoof stroom en waarvandaan kom die "trigger" stroom na die relay toe. Miskien is die 'trigger' kabel êrens by die dash se blou liggie se stroombaan gekoppel wat dan 'n voltage drop oorsaak na die 'cluster' toe. Spots werk beter of die krag direk van die battery af kom (met 'n in-line fuse natuurlik, 15A behoort te werk). Die relay 'trigger' kan van die brights getrek word direk by een van die hoof ligte.

As daar wel spots is, probeer om te sien wat met die gauge aangaan as jy die relay se trigger kabel ontkoppel en brights aan skakel sonder die spots en relay. :think:

Jip het spots op, gaan hulle diskonnekteer en kyk. Daar is n relay in ook.

Maak net seker jy diskonnekteer die relay se 'trigger' draad want hy trek ook bietjie krag en ek vermoed dis daai draad wat verkeerd gekoppel is. As jy dit diskonnekteer sal die spots in elk geval nie aan kom met brights nie. :winkx:
