31/10.5/15 BF KO2 on 2003 KZTE 4x4???

Post by Johan338 »

Hi All.

I'm contemplating fitting 31/10.5/15 BF KO2 (Standard 30/9.5/15) on my 2003 KZTE 4x4, any negatives I should be aware of?

Thanks
Johan

Hello Johan

My experience with those specific tires on my hilux d4d: I noticed Slight increase in fuel consumption and reduction in acceleration due to high rolling resistance and weight. I had to remove my mud flaps too as they were scrapping as i mounted them on an aftermarket mags with offset

the KZ should not feel it at all, not sure about fuel consumtion.
as for on my 2700i Petrol i could not see fuel consumption being affected, all to do with foot on the pedal.
It does take away some power thou on the petrol motor.

Sorry my tyres was and is: Perelli Scorpion Muds(enjoued them very much) currently running Grantrek Mudds, not bad.
a big sadness that Pirelli does not do the 15" mudds anymore

I had the older BF 31/10.5/R15 on, but simply couldn't justify paying almost double the price I paid for the General Grabber 265/70/R15
Reviews on Grabbers were very good, and apparently also give 100k mileage per set. Sofar, I am happy
