White smoke generally means that it's burning oil. Could be that there are collapsed rings or even a hole in a piston. Needs to be opened up.

I did send it back to the dealer ,now the dealer say they suspect its fuel contamination, dont know what that means.

Don't leave it at that...
they will use that card to get out of what could be quite an expensive repair.

Use the public protector, competition commisions... and the actual one that deals with this... can't get to their name...

Don't leave it at that.
Take it to toyota for second opinion. GOnna cost you investigation fee, but rather that then turbo or injector bill

Act VERY quickly, inform your bank, stop/turn around payment immediately - Consumer protection act is your friend, find help!! Do not accept fuel contamination rhetoric by dealer. Find a lawyer to inform the dealer of your rights!

Hi Burton. My 2008 3.0 d4d did exactly the same. At first I thought the turbo to be the culprit, with a lot of smoke blowing from the exhaust and everybody saying that it could be the turbo. the engine blew shortly after this and when it was opened a blown gasket between cylinders three and four was found. The top also had a groove between the two cylinders which was patched to sell by the previous owner. Cost me a new engine as this one was already on sleeved to 40 microns.
