Looking for Bosch O2 sensor

Post by ronnie »

Ok, so its not for a Hilux but I'm hoping the clever guys here can help. The wife's Mazda 5 has had the O2 sensor fail and Mazda wants to charge a crazy amount to replace. So I use the original serial number to track down the Bosch alternative but then hit a brick wall. A supplier of these sensors tells me that he can see the code but Bosch does not allow them to order this part - may only be sold to Mazda. Anti competitive practice aside, essentially Mazda takes the Bosch part, puts a genuine Mazda sticker on the box and doubles the price.

Does anyone know how one can source this part if I have the Bosch serial number for it?
