Seems like my seals are shot! '95 22R.
Oil all over the place....
Is there a seal kit available? If not, what are my options?

Gooi 3 proppies engine prolong (te koop by Veri Mart) by jou power steering pomp olie.Dit laat die seels uitsit en dan lek hy nie meer nie. Almal vir wie ek die raad gegee het , het terug gekom na my toe en dankie gese.Hulle powersteering pomp lek nie meer olie nie.

Re: Seal kit for powersteering pump?
Is it the pump that's leaking? Or the banjo fitting on the high pressure side? That's just 2 O-rings to replace
If you take the pump to any hydraulic place they should be able to sort it for you.

Re: Seal kit for powersteering pump?
Remove the pump and replace the O-ring. Very simple to do. Buy the O-ring from any shop that sells seals etc. I paid R4 for the O-ring and problem solved. It is just a miserable job to take the pump out and to put it back. Pity I did not know about the Pro-long fix!

Re: Seal kit for powersteering pump?
It's not difficult to get the pump off - only took me a couple of hours because I couldn't get the pulley off so had to cut the bolt in half...
Happy trails

Re: Seal kit for powersteering pump?
Ok thanks guys! Did the prolong test and seems to be working for now.
This should hold till the first opportunity I get to properly strip and see where the problem is coming from and to get the necessary o- rings!
Thanks again!
