imported used 22re 2.4 petrol motors from japan
morning everyone has any body replaced there hilux 4x4 22re motor with a used import and anybody give me there thoughts on these motors

Speak to Dylan at Alex Motors.
It's a used motor, so you don't really know what you're getting, but if the motor is imported from Japan and not the USA then the chances are good that you get a good motor. Problem is that it's an old motor and discontinued and in Japan a vehicle is mandatorily 'scrapped' after 5 years (this used to be the case but not sure if it still is) so the chance of getting one from there are now slim.

The importers are in JHB and call themselves Jap Auto I think.
