2.7 2001 bakkie Aircon

Post by davauc »

My aircon started working less an less and I thought it would be the gas. I took a trip down the road and heard some noise under the hood. After inspection found a 'cover' off with bolt missing on one of the pully's. I will attempt to upload photos. The question is this just a ordinary bolt I can use the re-secure the 'cover'. The cover has some splines in the inside.

Kind regards,
Dawie

Is this not ½ of a 'split pulley' ? Where's the other half then?
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Hello there,
Found the bolt lying on the engine protection plate. Secured the pulley end and all is hunky dory!
PS. The other part of the pulley was still on.
