Fuel level gauge takes 2 hours to pickup Hilux Vigo

Post by Odin »

Hi guy
I was wondering if you guys might know what is wrong with my hilux's fuel gauge.
When i put in fuel the fuel gauge takes 2 hours to pickup and show the actual level. :frustrated:
I usually put in R400 so thats about 25L :shock2:
I have not stripped anything yet.
Would like to fix it myself before my trip next weekend.

Seems like the Vigo has a lot of faults reported here with the fuel gauge. Generally the problem is with the cluster itself and it's a pricey replacement. Apparently there are guys that repair the cluster problem at a fraction of the cost of replacing .... just do a search on "Vigo fuel gauge" .... you should pick up a number of threads. Good luck. :winkx:
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Manne probeer gerus VR2 instruments by 341 Behrens Straat Capital Park Pretoria.

Tin is brosser as lood.
