Post by Bosvark »

How often must a person swop the tyres, especially M/T tyres,on my bakkie the front tyres started to go bumpy,so johan tyres recommended that is swop them cross over. The M/T tyres use to do it on a SFA.

The MTR's on Kaspaas gets rotated (cross-over from rear to front, and straight from front to rear) once every 5000km's. That ensures that they wear out evenly and that the knobbly's dont get worn unevenly. Currently they have done more than 50000 km's and are still in good condition.

Dus persoonlike keuses

hoekom wil jy so baie moeite doen?

Mud's and knobblies do not conform to those rules... EXCEPT for the Kumho muds that has uni-directional tread..

Your tyres will have a "R" in the spec somewhere. like AT/R or MT/R etc etc
