hey guys
slight problem
when driving from 0-60km/h there is a slight thudding/nocking noise coming from the front right and you can feel it.
however when you go over 60 it goes away and when you put it in 4wd it goes away.
my gues is front CV (which would suck, if so are they hard to do urself or worth getting it done?)
any ideas?
also its hard to pinpoint exactly because it only makes the noise when ur going along and i cant be in to places at once or run that fast, any ideas on that one to?

disable the front hubs. then the cv joints should be standing still. and the noise should be gone. That is if it is the cv joints.

i looked online and it turns out new cv's are pretty cheap, about $130aus
and new cv is worse case scenario.
i jacked the front up and turned the wheel and you could feel something wasnt right, it just didnt turn smoothly
and the cv itself has some play in it.
ill just limp around for a little bit then book it in to get checked out in about 2 weeks.
also how hard is it to fit manual hubs to increase life of the cv's?
