Hi Folks
I have doing some research on the Hilux Surf that was available in Japan but not in South Africa and have noticed how identically similar it is in body design/chassis/front end/lights etc in comparison to our Hilux of that time ie early 90's etc.
I was wondering would it be all that difficult if one was to say get a Hilux Surf and transfer the entire body onto a South African hilux double cab of the same year ?
Would this be possible ?
I think the Hilux Surf looks awesome.
Thanks..

We actually discussed this exact idea last night... transfer a surf body onto a SFA chassis... sounds cool...
I know of a excellent condition Hilux Surf in CT, but alas no papers... I believe it's technically feasible, but the legal/paperwork nightmare make it a serious problem!

We heard you the first time Bretton .... no need to repeat yourself!!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
