Canopy Lifting & Storing mechanism
Hi
Does anybody know of a mechanism that I can use for lifting (/dropping) my canopy from my Hilux? I'd like something I can mount to my garage roof/walls with some kind of winch that i can lift my canopy and store it in that position until i need to fit it again, as most of the time I will need to attempt it on my own. It will also help with storage space!

Do you want to buy one or make one?
There is a co that sells them for lifting your canopy for about R1500 (SA4X4 Mag)or so, but can easily be made

Hi guys,
There is a SA based company that makes specialised hoists for this purpose: http://www.fredlin.co.za/documents/hoists.html
I recently saw one of these advertised on GumTree for R600!

Re: Canopy Lifting & Storing mechanism
Totale koste:
Hand winch kompleet met kabel = R250
2 Hek rollers/wiele = R60
Lip channel = scrap in my w/shop
Custom Straps = R60
