Compressor recommendations

Post by TimTDP »

I am in the market for a decent quality compressor. Preferably one that can pump two tyres at once.
I am amazed at the difference in prices. From R1000 to R7000!
Looking for recommendations for one that will give me years of service
Remember: When you need something in the bush, it must work!!!

Thanks in advance

You're going to need a serious compressor to do two tyres at a time, something a lot bigger, more bulky and more pricey than what is normally used. I would rather direct the resources towards a decent double piston unit of a reputable brand that will last and serve you better over time.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

I have a pump I bought from 4x4direct. Works well for the price I paid. But it can't do two tyres. Unless it is bicycle tyres :)

I’ve tried a few and can highly recommend the ARB compressor. Two wheels at a time is no problem.
Wishing my life away till the next trip!
