Re: Wetern Cape 2006 - not so new report
Hi Harold
I have been going to the Tankwa for the past 2 years(5 times).I agree it is something very special.I went in November the one time it was hot(35 at 6pm).I was there in May this year and it had rained the night before and the roads were extremely slippery(especially the drifts).I have a 4x2 Hilux(desperatley wanting to get a 4x4),so it was quite a challenge in some places especially the Gannaga Pass.My vehicle only has a limited slip diff.I like the solitude, camping where there is no one around for miles. Also it is so close to Cape Town! :D
