Africa East Coast Data - budget, route & GPS waypoints

Post by bcfarley »

Hi guys

We just got back from our round-Africa trip, up the East coast from SA to Egypt, round through Europe (unfortunately still cant drive through Algeria and Libya was still quite dodgy), back onto the mother Continent at Morocco, and all the way down the West coast back to SA in our awesome 1994 Hilux SFA beaut. Our blog is http://www.moonspaghetti.com and we are neeearly up to date with the blog, just got our Namibia & Botswana posts still to put up.

Anyways, aside from the stories of our trip, we have made some summaries that might be helpful to other adventurers - our GPS waypoints for the East coast along with budget spreadsheet etc (for accommodation, activities, visas etc) are all online now:

We will do something similar for the west coast as soon as we can :bye:

Cheers
Brett & Mary

Very briefly looked at your blog: very well done, very detailed  and best of all; it was all done in a Hilux
Going to continue reading over the next few days :) Looking forward to your report on Namibia :)
