What a story (if you haven't read the thread on the Community forum, I suggest you do), had tears welling up in my eyes.

The story from start , during and recovery is something outta a movie.

And then in true TOYOTA fashion, they turned the key and she fired up - amazing.

Eish! One of the things I've always been scared of - flash-flooding ..... sometimes it's from rains that fell far away and you've only seen sunshine, next thing there's a wall of water barrelling down.
An epic trip nonetheless and ended well in that there was no injury or loss of life. Sad about the loss of the Toy, Ronald, but I'm sure it'll rise again.

(Ronald is also a member here, forum name "dieseldog".)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
