Long overdue Botswana trip

Post by DeonV »

Eventually, Botswana here we come. We will be a group of nine vehicles, eighteen people, taking on Botswana from 26 June 2016 to 10 July 2016. We will be entering Botswana via Stockpoort border post, one night sleep over at Makgadikgadi pans enroute to Moremi. We will visit Savuti, Chobe, Vic falls and do some tiger fishing. Something to really look forward to. My wife's first ever, hope she enjoys it, making future trips even more possible :yahoo:

Looks like some amazing trips... Been to quite a few of the places mentioned in Bots, in the last few years, great memories. Have a mostly Namibia, Bots trip planned from middle sept to middle oct. Etosha pans, Okavango panhandle, then to Ghanzi in Bots, back into Nam, and then south home again. We have a little 4 yr old travelling with us, so cut out the Caprivi, Chobe, Elephant sands section. Too much distance for a little one. So less places, longer stays... but all good.
