Richard's Bay Caravan Park

To all the nature lovers out there...
At long last I get time to write the post about an awesome holiday at Richard's Bay Caravan Park.
I must start with saying that I wasn't too impressed with my decision driving there as I thought it is going to be over crowded and dirty...
It was completely the opposite and they are now one of my preferred camping sites. If you like camping and haven't thought about going there then you should give it a try. Everything was very clean and very neat. They have a huge amount of stands but you get the feeling of a small camp site while camping as the camp site are divided into blocks and separated by huge trees. The block contains about 6 to 9 camp sites. There are however a few camp sites on the main road through the camp site that I wouldn't pick... :)
The beach is private and controlled by security gates... however you shouldn't have heart problems going up and down the stairs... there are enough stairs to get your heart pumping The sharks however are not controlled by security gates so be careful.
I asked around and did some research to try and find a good 4x4 route in the area. Everybody through I was a little crazy that I'm looking for a trail to drive that I need to pay for. 4x4 in Richard's Bay is free.
With this information I opened google earth and searched for a dirt road leading into the mountains and through the forest. I didn't get one, I found gazillion. A huge network of dirt roads going in every direction. The road took us through a rural area where we were greeted with smiles and waves. It made us feel at home
We ended up in a big opening with lots of sand and this is where the fun began... I'll let the video attached (Part 1 - available in full HD) do the rest of the talking so enjoy. I will upload the video in three parts over the next few weeks.
