My temp gauge on the cluster is not working so I installed this electronic one. Will sort out the cluster gauge later.

Does anyone know a professional vehicle interior place in Gauteng/Mpumalanga area?
I really need to finish this Hilux to go exploring!

Hi Jaco,

I'm new to the forum, and i've read some interesting stuff already but your post caught my eye,
i did exactly the same with my hilux and got 180nm on my rear's with 33" tyres. I was surprised
and now wew got the perfect vehicle.

When some guys saw this i did a lot more conversions, so in the field, we're having a bash of a time.

Great stuff man, keep up the good work. :yahoo:

Looking exceptionally good!

If you take that scratched ash-tray and scrub the facing with a ScotchBright scourer, the dark grey surface layer comes off and leaves it uniformly black. Not sure if that's in keeping with your envisaged colour scheme, but it does look a lot better than the scratched version. ;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Thanks Oom,
The interior guy said he will put some new leathers on the face cover and the ash tray.
Let's give him a chance to see how it looks, if not I will go your way.

Hi,
The tank and installation was R6000-00.
The interior job is R13 000-00:
This includes:
Roof lining
Leather seats (D4D cloth seats) front & rear (HILUX logo in front seats)
Door panels leather
Cab rear leather
Small jobs on the dash, radio face cover & ash tray
Steering wheel leather
Heat shielding on bonnet

It should be finished next week Thursday - I will post some pics.

eendag as ek groot is...
