Dagse almal!

Ek wil net raad vra asb? Ek het recovery punte vir `n FJ45 Cruiser gemaak wat agter op die chassis rails vasbout. Dis 80x20 flatbar wat elke kant gaan vaskom met 4x M16 10.9 graad boude met nyloc moere. Kan iemand fout sien met hierdie plan? Ek wonder veral oor die boudgraad. Ek wil he dit moet sterk genoeg wees vir enige snatch recovery.

Ek dink dit kan werk maar wat my worry is die afstand tussen waar hy vaskom en waar die tou aan vas gemaak gaan word. Daai gaan toelaat vir baie wringkrag op die aanhegtingspunte

Ek kan nie regtig korter gaan nie want die plate gaan basis vorm vir ñ bumper. Hoe kan ek dit verbeter?

Flatbar grootte is 80mm breed en 20mm dik.

As dit gaan deel maak van 'n bumper dan verander die prentjie want dan gaan die twee aan mekaar vas wees. Dink net hulle sou dalk stewiger gewees het in 'n vertikale posisie as horisontaal. Ek is by no means 'n expert, daai is maar net vrae wat by my opkom.

As jy daai cruiser plat op sy pens in modder het kan jy lag lag 18ton plus op daai recovery punte uitoefen

Ongelukkig kan ek hulle nie vertikaal aansit nie. Ook nogal gewens ek kan dit doen. Op 18ton sal die kinetiese tou seker darem eers breek voor die punte meegee. Ek werk maar op wat ek al gehoor het, ek het nog nooit 4x4 gery nie. Baie dankie vir die inligting sover!!

O ja, die bumper gaan omtrent 40mm agter die shackle gate sit, so die hefboomkrag sal heelwat minder wees.

If at all possible weld a plate at 90 deg to the exsisting plate 30mm short of the shackle holes ,if you weld with 6mm v on welds ends for proper weld penetration should be plenty strong enough .This plate must fit in vertical to chassis

Okay ek het heeldag gesit en ky en luister oor wat jy beplan met daai plaatjies... en in my geestesoog sien ek al hoe buig en breek hulle, maar dit was voor ek geweet het watse size plaatjies daai is...Sien hoe belangrik is perspektief? :silent: :silent:

Teen 80mm x 20mm en as basis vir die bumper kan hulle werk as recoverypunte. Horisontaal is net so goed as vertikaal.

Boor die gat waardeur die shackle gaan en weld 'n stuk pyp daarin as 'n "bush" om die gat te versterk. Ek verstaan nou beter wat jy beplan... :thumbup: :thumbup:

As jy daai bo op die chassis gaan mount sit dan ook onder die chassis 'n stuk net tot teen die bumper.

Dankie vir die terugvoering! Ek sal definitief kyk vir ñ bush in die shackle gat. My spasie op die chassis is bietjie beperk, so dis hoe ek opgeëindig het met die plate plat onder teen die chassis vas. Die chassis loop nog taper oop na agter toe, ek het die plate net reguit agtertoe gesit anders is daar outomaties hefboomkrag op hulle. Vertikale ekstra plate gaan ook bietjie moeilik wees. Die bak hang agter oor die chassis,so jy sien net-net die onderkant van die chassis.

Ek het vir die snaaksheid die plate geweeg, 9kg een.....

Ek het M16 10.9 boute bestel. 4 op ñ kant. Klink my 12.9 is te hard vir recovery.
