Tow ball smashes through windscreen

Post by SYRON CONVERSIONS »

A mate down in East London sent me an email this morning with some photo's, in the photo it showed a white 4x4 stud in a mud hole at some competition, a red Range Rover had been used to snatch the stuck 4x4 bakkie out of the mud, looking at the photo, they had used a kenetic rope and a thick strap.

Anyway when they had attempted to snatch the stuck 4x4 out of the mud, the complete tow ball that was welded onto the rear of the Range Rover came loose, it went flying through the air, hit the bonnet of the other vehicle and then straight through the windscreen, hitting the driver in the face and the passenger as well.

Now I wonder who would be at fault here? I recon both parties, I will try and post the pic's here as well, one thing that I did notice was that the vehicles were GP.

Makes you think the next time you use the tow ball hey :!:

Maybe some body else has the same pic's.

Thankyou for this info, I have not been around for a while, been very busy at work, we close for our yearly holiday in two weeks time and I have been busy buying a Porsche CAYMAN S.
