Fatal Towbar Recovery

I saw this post on 4x4com, it just highlight's how dangerous it is to do recoveries if not done properly and safely.

Dis al n ruk terug wat ek hom gesien het. Kan nie mooi onthou of net een of albei daai twee wat op die grond le dood is nie. Weet verseker van 1 wat dood is.

So paar jaar terug het ek en SWAMBO opleiding gedoen met ORRU, en hulle was baie streng met recovery points, en rated recovery gear. Met goeie rede!

Wow, thats bad.
Why did they do the recovery so hastily?
Especially with all those bystanders so close by

Wow that's insane... Will NEVER pull anything but a trailer with my tow bar!
