Anybody heard of this material before?

Read the attached article, it sounds amazing.
I got the article from the latest newsletter of the Cape Chamber of Commerce.

Ek soek van daai djam om oor my nommerplate te smeer, met 'n ou 12v draadjie en switchie vir daai tye wat die tol kameras vir my loer... En daai vet polisiemanne agter die bosse met hulle se kameras...
Jinne nê, klink my daai goetters gaan groot veranderinge bring... Hopenlik nog in onse leeftyd. Kan ek aandele koop? :twisted:

Fascinating! It will be like the invention of plastics all over again! The greenhouse gas reduction factor is also interesting .... one of the first thoughts I had when I started reading, but it depends on the energy required to produce the material and subsequent products. I somehow doubt that to scrub and reap viable volumes from the atmosphere will be on the cards in the foreseeable future since far cheaper sources of bulk carbon are available, but if it results in fewer emissions we're on the right track.
