Hi everyone,

ok its been awhile since us Cape Okes have had a GTG. So we have decided on an outing to Welgelegen 4x4 trail. Its nice and central so should be good for everyone what with the fuel price and all.

There are basic camp facilities and I will probably camp as I have to come down from Langebaan. If we can all meet at 0830 for 0900 at the trail. Please bring Tjop/dop for after trail braai etc, you can get details of the trail at the below link.....its not a long trail, but great views and there is a halfway stop on the highest Koppie.........

Just an update guys, spoke to Jean at the trail and there is no camping available, the Landrover club have a challenge event booked on the Sunday (probably to see who makes it home) and they have the Camping area booked. So it will be just a day outing but we can still braai etc after the trail.....

Have a previous commitment for a weekend at Lamberts bay with some friends, and if that does'nt materialise, I will join you, but will only know closer to the time. Thanks guys for arranging the weekend.....

9 am is reg. Ek gaan net die roete doen en dan weer die pad vat, moet 12 kg olywe optel (wat ek wil inlê) op n ander plaas in Stellenbosch en dan Goodwood toe vir n verjaarsdag 14h00. Sal ek dit maak? Hoop so, my ma verjaar en eks die braaier

A few guys have asked, payment can be made on the morning of the trial, its R100 per vehicle, I would like to start the trail at 0930 hrs, we have quite a few vehicles so it will probably be about 3 to 4 hours max on the trail. Gives us enough time to have a dop afterwards, I for one have to be in Caledon myself at 1600 hours.

Ken jy die mense? Ons se 08h00 dan daag die eerstes 08h30 op. Dan staan almal rond en gesels en maak bonnets oop en kyk na suspensies en laaistelsels tot 09h00 wanneer die laaste ouens bel en se hulle het verslaap hulle ry NOU en moet nog net gou petrol ingooi... Die laaste ouens kom 10h00 daar verbygejaag in 'n bol stof, toet 3 keer en wys die res van die groep kan maar kom... :yahoo: :yahoo:

Hi Royco, there's a chance I can make it on Sat, weekend plans have changed a bit... Do you know exactly where the farm is, have looked on google maps and t4a and don't see the farm, so far o-ordiinates not throwing up anything...

I have two other vehicles who confirmed, Herman-Hilux and Leandro-Fortuner. The 3 of us will be at the palms at 08:30.Can't wait :yahoo:
