Hilux 4x4 Forum

Decided to try some 4x4'ing with my recently purchased 1998 SFA. Found a place near stellenbosch. Was R100 per vehicle and the owner was very accommodating in letting us use the trail as it was only the one vehicle. Had plenty fun and was surprised how easily the SFA climbed and descended obstacles. First tried the green(easy route) then went around and did the orange(difficult route). Definitely keen to give it another go sometime.

awesome, well well well. I di not know there was two different routes? maybe we must make that a trip then on out yearly planner

Welgelegen was ook my eerste grondpad/berg 4x4 roete gewees.
Het dit baie geniet saam met die club ouens daar en sal dit weer wil doen.

This is a great route, also enjoyed it very much!

...Unless it rains then it becomes another animal(as most trails on clay does) ! We did it with a Be a Blessing event a year or so ago and the day started off with a light drizzle and later it became like driving on ice, very scary!!! Other than that it was great fun!

Did they improve the trail pointers We a bit lost the trail when we did the recce before the BaB event...
