Look I understand their point. I would not like to have a little bit of an oops and then end up in that water... There is no way out of there... Safety first. But we WILL be there at a later stage.

Guys,

We had almost 100mm of rain in Heidelberg since yesterday and it is still p!ssing!

The Heidelberg Track is a no go today! If you do go there and ruin the track the new owners will not allow 4x4's in future!

Rather give the track some time dry and come and enjoy our Fun Day next Saturday! There will still be enough mud to play!

P.S. Just returned from the track!

Well well so that was an awesome weekend. I think Heidelberg was a good replacement for the day. In the end we were 10 vehicles. It was wet, cold and one could barely walk up a little hill so slippery it was. We went to play in the hole a bit while it was raining, What fun trying to get up simple little inclines... It stopped raining at around 10am or so and at that time we started portions of the trail. We had no problems at all. It did go a little slower than usual but on wet rocks and so on we couldn't do it any other way. We all made it back with no damage from the trail except for Sebata's sidestep which decided to fall off as a sign for now rocksliders and a broken blade on Cassies van. Well done to all.

We just want to say thanks to all who came along and enjoyed the day with us. Hope to see you guys at the next one as well as those who didn't make it this time round.

I will post the pics I have a little later on.

There where you trying to get up that short incline, it had a very nasty dip and at one time you bounce all four wheels off the ground trying to get up.
