We just received this email.

WHEN: 27-29 SEPTEMBER
WHERE: MALONJENI GUEST FARM (JUST OUTSIDE VEREENIGING)

THE MOST EXCITING OUTDOOR SHOW IS COMING TO THE VAAL!

It’s with great excitement to announce that the Outdoor X show is coming to the Vaal this September. The organisers invite everyone to be part of this remarkable event that will be held from the 27th -29th of September at Malonjeni Game Farm just outside Vereeniging.

Due to the extensive growth of the show in the first and second year we had to relocate from the previous venue in Meyerton to a bigger location with much more to offer. It has an existing infrastructure which offers a multipurpose venue with dedicated exhibition facilities, secure parking area, 24 hour security and has a variety of accommodation options available allowing families to make it a weekend getaway. Malonjeni Game Farm is a convenient location with ease of access from all Vaal Triangle Routes.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
The show showcases more than 300 impressive outdoor, leisure and lifestyle stalls. An ongoing myth is that the show is only for extreme 4x4 enthusiasts with nothing else to offer. This is not true. The show caters for everyone, young and old. The goal is to create a memorable experience for all. This event is a perfect family outing with lots of exciting entertainment.
ENTERTAINMENT:
For the first time this year well known artists i.e. Bobby van Jaarsveld, Lianie May, Campbells, DJ Ossewa only to name a few.
The Maxxis National 4x4 X Track Racing, Toyota World Record Attempt, Helicopter Flips, Super Kids Entertainment area, Beer Garden, a variety of mouth watering foods etc. More big surprises and details will be announced closer to the show!!

TOYOTA WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT (more info)

When: Saturday, 28 September
Where: At the Outdoor X Show (Malonjeni Guest Farm)
Time: Gates open at: 07h00 for all Toyota participants
Judging starts at: 12h00
Prize giving at : 14h00

Who can enter: Any form, shape and year model as long as it is a Toyota.
Vehicle registration: R150-00 per vehicle

FANTASTIC PRIZES:

1st R20 000 CASH
2nd R10 000 CASH
3rd R 5 000 CASH + R100 000 in vouchers to be given away on the day!!

Ek bedoel n prys of 2 tussen on lede. Nie as n groep nie.

Wonder ook daaroor .... seker nie die meeste Toyotas bymekaar op 'n slag nie, anderste sou hulle nie R150 registrasie verlang .... dit sal seker nommers beperk.

Was laas jaar daar met die Bike, jy kom nie met n kar daar in nie tensy jy bereid is om in dik traffic te sit.. maar vir julle joburg jappies is dit seker niks snaaks nie

So I fanally have been able to get hold of them.

Record they are going for will mainly be "Most toyota vehicles" with sub record atempts like "Most Hiluxes in one place" and so on.

Waiting for e-mail with all the details. There will be lots of prizes given out throughout the day and we may go and play if we ant to.

Camping is availible, cost is R125 per camp site(at the venue) but there is limited space availible so please contact them to arrange camping on (016) 423-4073/5277.

EK is in - Wie skakel mens en waar begin die proses om te verseker dat ons deel maak van die groep. Ek skiet nie vir 'n prys nie, net vir die rekord poging. Was laasjaar ook daar - moeite werd om by te woon.

Ek was gister daar, moet erken daar was nogal n klomp Toyota's - maar aan die ander kant dit is ook niks snaaks nie, behalwe dat al die Toyota saam parkeer het

Hulle het so klein 4x4 obstacle challenge gehad, nie die Maxxis challenge nie, elke ou kon inskryf - Wie het ook deelgeneem?

more manne ons was daar van donderdag was n baie lekker nawweek daar was genoeg om te doen vir oud en jonk ek wil net weet of iemand my kan se waar ons van die fotos kan kry wat die show se staff af geneem het my dogters het saam met die manne van extreme 4x4 gery en vir hulle meer moed gegee vandat ek myne gerol het

Ek sal vir jou uitvind. Die fotograwe het ook indeminities by my geteken gister vir die plesier ritte saam met die national ouens.

Sover ek saterdag aand verstaan het was daar 3000 toyotas- ek mag dalk verkeerd gehoor het.

Saterdag se Maxxis nationals was awsome soos gewoonlik, die skou gedeelte was apparently baie goed.
Gister het baie goed afgeloop vir die charity drive van die Maxxis ouens, ons het ongeveer tussen 120-150 ritte vir die dag gegee. Die terugvoer van gister was goed, die baan was aangepas sodat dit beter kon vloei en ons het net 2 klagtes gehad dat dit nie rof genoeg was nie, maar die persoon wou nie sy voertuig bring om ons te wys nie (al kan sy voertuig apparently)

Daar was n hele paar van die forum se siele daar saterdag, n paar persone van die forum het kommentaar gegee dat hulle maklik met hulle voertuie die Maxxis baan kan ry, so kom volgende jaar, skryf in en wys dan wat jou voertuig kan doen....moenie langs die kant staan en se jy kan nie.....

Weet nie waar kry ons die ander van die rekord nie. Hulle het gese dit gaan als op hulle webblad maar het al niks gesien nie.
