Where are they competing?

Hopefully not at a mall nearby, as the hilux would then in hands down in the flowerbed. (tic)

Just to enlighten the powers that be, wranglers do not have baby sized wheels (31").

They wear bigger shoes.

It's been a while since I've visited the Hilux forum I must say.

have you guys put the gallows away yet? >:D

so, basically, nice competition, but the only Jeep which may compete is a Compass, which is actually a Dodge Caliber with a jeep badge - Front Wheel Drive, 2.0 motor, do I really need to list it's shortcomings, it's almost as bad as a toyota.

Is this really the only way you guys can win your own completion , by excluding stock wranglers? ;D

Not our competition, but a valid point re stock wranglers :naah:

It seems that there is a bit of a misunderstanding here -

Please note that this is not a Hilux 4x4 event, but an event arranged by someone else! Hilux 4x4 have nothing to do with the event, rules or organizing of the event. The Hilux Club Marshal Unit may marshal at this event, but still have nothing to do with the event, rules or organizing of the event.

Please feel free to contact the event organizers with your inquiries and complaints.

That being said - Valid points raised - Please inform the organizers for resolution and clarity!

Goeie vraag.Ek dink dit raak net 'n kompetiesie as daar tyd betrokke is.

Maar ja.Ek sien ook nie die sin in so 'n "kompetiesie" nie.

I spoke to the organisers about the 31" tyres thing a while ago.. Even a standard Vigo would then not be allowed according to that poster, which is maybe not such a bad thing, but anyway...

They said they will allow any standard vehicle off the showroom floor to participate. even if it has > 31" tyres. But if you enter with a modified vehicle, they limit it to 31" tyres.. I guess they should maybe think of getting somebody to design their posters better..
