What's the difficulty/ grading of the trail. We are new to the 4x4 world. I've been on a course and all but I don't want to hold others up. In saying that I'd love to enjoy a day out with other enthusiasts.

No probs, I'm sure ..... there are probably escape routes, but even so, there'll be more than enough willing hands to help you along. Don't let that hold you back. ;-)

My thoughts were to stop at Exel The Rose, and grab something there. Looking at the weather forecast, a hot chocolate would be best thing to do. If you want, you can join us. And to go even further... I am willing to sponsor the first two vehicles with hot chocolate. Lets see who's in? :mocking: :mocking:

I've just gone through the threat, and noticed the drivers briefing is at 08:00. So my thoughts are to maybe meet at 07:00 at Exel The Rose? Its just after the Toll Gate on the N4 East (For those who don't know). We can then travel in Convoy is some guys don't know the location to Kungwini. What do you suggest?

8am briefing you say :naah:

Somehow I believe that, that will not happen   How far is Kungwini from the Rose?

But seven sounds good, SWAMBO (not) will not be happy, but I am sure she will get over it.

I'd say between 30-40min drive. Thus giving us time to set up tent and off loading for the evening.

Kungwini 4x4 6th June, Prices added.

Seems like everytime there is a really big get together we cant make it. Dammit.

I will need to bail out of this one. Our little girl was admitted to hospital today with severe "stomach" pain. After first batch of scans and test they cant pinpoint the problem. So more tests required. In short she (and me on the chair next to the bed) will stay for 2-3 nights.

And i dont think they will discharge her early enough on saturday for me to still make it to the track :-).... Oops me thinking out loud.

Next time. But thanks to the organisers

I've received news, that 4x4 Direct will be sponsoring some lucky draw items for the day.

Thank you Pieter and the guys from 4x4 Direct.

I think 8:00am to 8:30am arrival time will be great, it's going to be cold, so for those camping, please bring warm goodies, I don't want to practice my First Aid. :laugh2:

Hmmm..... by this time tomorrow I should be just a little further than ½ way to Gauteng! :D:

Swambo has had a change of heart, coming down with a bout of flu she has decided not to come along.

Had I known this earlier, I would have made a plan to camp, but no time left to get all the kit organised so it will still be just for the day.
