training

Post by duppa »

Hi to everybody
I did the training with Herman(engel on the forum) and I can recommend it to anybody that is new to this 4x4 thing. Allthough I had been riding on the farm and in the bush for many years, I learned a lot and I am sure that I am going to use all the little things he had taught us in future

There was only onthing that was a bit of a problem - he is a Nissan driver,

Here is some pics:

Although he drives a Dustbin I can assure you he is one of the guys that actually knows how to drive off road. He will train you with experience he has gained and not merely by knowledge gained from books. You can never go wrong by doing his training course and you can be sure it is worth every sent you pay.

Its the fact that he drives a Dustbin that makes him such a good driver, having had to learn to overcome the horrible disadvantage of driving a lesser 4x4, now imagine what he could do in your lux, he will have no competition at all it would not be fair. In racing they many times use a handicap system so the Dustbin is Herman's Handicap to level the playing fields a bit

But I must say the Datsun was an upgrade from the Jeepie he used to drive long ago
