This might be short notice, but the guys in the Swellendam area can join the Canola Carnaval, I received this one via email:

We have the Canola Carnaval at Swellendam this weekend, 6-8 August. Lots of activities, see http://www.canolakarnaval.co.za

There is a 4x4 route on Saturday and the WCCC is also hosting a 4x4 Extreme Challenge. Entrants of the 4x4 route also have an option to drive the 4x4 Extreme Challenge course after the route.
