That entitles us to 12 happy campers, of which 3 are already taken.

Who else would be interested to camp at Ou Skip on the Friday evening (31 May 2013)?
Camping is free (4x4Direct Sponsored)

I need to tell them how many vehicles we would be so they can send me the invoice.

I did try to get the open area again, but unfortunately it was booked out already.
Because we only have camping sites we are "restricted" to 6 people per camping spot.

If there are more people interested I will just get more camping sites, BUT I need the numbers and please do not put your name on the list if you won't pitch.

Remember No permit, NO play!! You need to present your permit to the Registration person when you register for the day to get your number. Please guys, read that thread, and familiarise yourselves with the do's and don'ts. We will have a Driver's briefing before the fun stats, but it is great if everybody is on the same page when we start the briefing.

You will also be required to sign the Club indemnity form before you can participate in the event.

The weather forecast is not improving. In stead it went from 21mm expected precipitation and a gentle N/W breeze on Monday to 33mm expected precipitation and fresh N/W breeze of 25 knots today. Expected temperature also dropped from an expected 17°C to an expected 12°C. Hardly underpants weather, unless you come from Scotland.. where they dont wear underpants...

After consulting all the weather prophets the picture is very clear. They are unanimous that it is going to be a very wet and cold Saturday. Therefore it would be best to postpone the event for one week.

It is a pity, because many have looked forward to this event and some of you might now have nothing to do on the weekend, but Atlantis isnt going anywhere, you can still go an play and practice for next weekend...

Big rain heading for Cape Town, the Peninsula and W. Cape this weekend – right through until Tuesday.. J Heavy rain on Sat, Sun, and Monday.

There will be flooding and wind damage in and around Cape Town and the Peninsula and surrounding areas by Sunday, Sunday night......... With massive open sea swells coming through too – possibly up to 40 feet (13 metres) – with v.strong NW winds – check the graph below this screen shot.. Camps Bay and Bakoven had better be prepared for a pounding...
