Hi all,

Bought two Ledlenser L7 jobbies at OW for R200 each (special) last week. Man, I am impressed. Small and lightweight but makes my old Maglite look like a candle. Maybe not the brightest Ledlenser but I think very good value for money.

Cheers,

C

Predator wrote:Dont know how many of the guys here are keen hunters either pigs or jackal, but we have started using a new light, to scan with red I cut off a pill bottle and fitted a red lens and then pushed it on the front.

The light is a model LED LENSER M14, with built in dimmer, it is a 4 penlight model and man it shines like crazy, I scan for jackal with it and pick up eyes past 300m, at 100m I can shoot a jackal with the light on red. If on white I could shoot at 200m, it is amazing.

The lens can lock in place and has a built in dimmer, as well as other styles of flashing. When scanning I push the button in half way and it does not click in place, and does not wear out a switch. It can click if you want it to.

It can mount to a barrel and life span is hours with 4 rechargables.

Grab one if you need serious light, this torch knocks the socks off any other model I have used. (German manufactured)

I use a large red light on chair if longer shots are needed, so when not using night vision I scan with this small amazing torch.

Really great product. I fit an exhaust on the front so light is thrown forward, lens can go into a spot or flood style. I bought a couple for gifts, really nice torch.
Never mind how much they cost, Where's my gift, Gary!!! :D: :D:

I also have a small L7 and an H7 headlamp - kicks Petzl's butt big-time. Won't be buying anything else but Led Lenser anytime soon.
