I received a e-mail with these two Black Mamba's, I can't make-up my mind if they are fighting or mating, maybe someone could explain what is happening here.

Suspect this thing is a hoax, but here is the email that accompanied the pics this week...

15-Foot Oos Kaap khakibos puffadder.

Largest ever caught on record. After seeing this, a little research followed, and learned the following :
One bite from a snake this large contains enough venom to kill over 40 full grown men. The head alone is larger than the hand of a normal sized man.

This snake was probably alive when Hendrik Verwoed was Prime minister.
A bite from those fangs would equal being penetrated by two 1/4 inch screwdrivers.
A snake this size could easily swallow a 2 year-old child.
A snake this size has an approximately 5 1/2 foot accurate striking distance. (The distance for an average size Puffadder is about 2 feet) Judging by the size of the snake, it is estimated to weigh over 70 kg.

Net so 'n update.Daai 2 mambas was nou die aand op 50/50 en volgens hulle is dit baklei.

Ek het weer op Nat Geo Wild twee King Cobras gesien en hulle het die selfde gedoen maar dit was nie fight gewees nie maar baie interesting
