defnatly heamanthus also named the blood lily or march lily (it flower in march)
Haemanthus sanguineus maybe with out leaves or the flower open not to easy to ID go to this sit to see more.

OH, I thought the one in the picture below is the Maartblom, if not what is this one then?

dit is een fan daardie dinge.
As a bol in Maart blom dan kan jy seker wees iemand noem hom 'n maartblom.
En as dit bloed rooi is bloed lelie.
En meeste van hulle word gif bolle genoem (want hulle is veral die Boophone of bousman gif).
Die Heamunthus word ook poeir kwas genoum oor die vorem van die blom.

Dankie Jan, ek het altyd gedink die eerste een wat jy gewys het is die poeierkwas en hierdie een die Maartblom, maar ek verstaan wat jy sê, hulle kan dus almal "Maartblomme" genoem word omdat hulle in Maart blom.
