Alarm Chirp

Hello All

I am a new Hilux owner and a n00b

I have a 2007 Hilux D4D 3.0 D/C R/B and I think its a Gen 7

I have the standard Toyota fitted alarm and I was wondering if there is any way I can get the hooter to "chirp" when I lock/unlock the doors with the remote

Can anyone assist me with this??

Yes, you have that option.

I can't tell you, but read the owners manual, it is in there somewhere

The chirp is to actually let me know that I locked the door, I become absent-minded at times.

However, auto-lock feature of the doors when im driving is the most vital

Jip, the vehicle can. Just needs to be programmed in, both the door lock chirp and the auto lock feature.

Stop at your local dealer and ask for their assitance. They did mine.

I would also like to know how to do the programming, problem is i do not have a owners manual ,(Would like to have one if someone have a spare)

But maybe some one can post us a step by step how to do the programming ?

Okkie myne is 'n 2001 model en daar is f@ol in die boekie van alarm programering, net van druk en hy maak drywer deur oop, druk weer en hy maak al die ander deure oop. Druk weer en hy sluit alles en sit alarm en imm aan. Praat ook van die overide op remote wat jy by fusebox socket lang stuurwiel indruk.

Sal ook like as ek hom kan program om vensters toe te maak as alarm gedruk word.

Ek dink nie die vensters sal jy kan programeer om toe te maak met die remote nie, maar ek sal darm die "Druk en net die drywer deur sluit oop en druk weer en die ander deure sluit oop" ding wil kan doen. As die vensters kan toe deur net die remote te gebruik sal dit n bonus wees .....Weet my Audi doen dit Maar die Hilux? I do not think so.
