Cheap and lekker awning

Post by Alibaba »

I'm looking for a cheap and lekker awning. Preferably one that is just a piece of canvas rolling up manually, with two poles. Any ideas?

Try N1 Safari Centre.

They have a well priced set.

Next option would be to buy the poles separately and get somebody to stick up the canvas for you.

What length and width and how do you want it attached to your vehicle?
Or are you going to attach it to your roofrack?

I'm not sure how long my canopy is (I'm at work right now), but it is for the side of an SFA canopy with an aluminium roof rack that is strong enough to take any awning. I don't mind if it is a awning attached to a pop riveted rail or if it attaches to the roof rack in some other way. I just need a good price.

I believe safari centre has a front runner that kind of ties to a roof rack. I like that because then you can move easily move it to the other side of the vehicle.

I think this Howling Moon is the answer. It is simple, cheap and covers a huge area. It attached with caravan rails.

About R1600 - R1900 depending on size - I had a look at them last week at Campworld

Tentco has exactly the same thing for about R1300

Ja, I'm not sure if anybody sells Tentco awnings in the Cape. I'll call them in Boksburg.

I've got the Tentco canopy, works wonders and is quick and easy to setup.

I also bought and extra long pole, so the canopy can alos be setup as free standing.
