Howzit guys,
A friend of mine is looking to sell his 2002 single cab hilux, its in good nick and has 250000km on it now. Its 2wd though. Has a few extras on it nudgebar, rollbar, towbar.
Just need the normal price they go for as I have no idea.

Hi Dawie,

Facelift or pre-facelift? Also, nudgebar, rollbar and towbar was standard - not an option. Electric windows, radio/cd, aircon, etc is all standars on the 2.7/Kz.

And you can get 2.7's from R30k to well over R100k!

Nope, 2002 was the facelift year. Around June the facelift was available.

Ek praat onder korreksie, maar ek skat meer na die R60k. my bakkie is n 2000 model dubbel kajuit met 260 000km op die klok en my boek waarde is maar R 65k. so in my logiese denke(wat maar selde is) sal ek se R60k.

They go between R60 and R70. If exceptionally good even more, but then again the kilos count against it.
I would say let him start at R70k and see what happens

Dont look at the book value, that is what the stealers are stealing them for.

It is the facelift model. Tyres are in good nick still got± 80% left on them has a cd/radio. It has rubberizing as well.
Will tell him he can start around 70k might even post a ad on his behalve.
