Kan enige mens vir my se waar in die Kaap kan ek n lock right of lokka koop en laat instaleer op my voorste dif

Dis vir 2.4 1998 sfa waar voor ek dit soek

Mechanical lockers op voor diffs is nie n baie goeie idee nie... Mens kan gladnie draai nie, hy engage altyd as jy moet draai, die sideshafts bollie gereeld oor die wiel spin en dan byt, moet ek nog redes gee...

Dalk kan Hoppy maak soos 4x4Direct, en iemand vra
om die produk (difflock) te toets voor hy dit verkoop

Ek sal met graagte my bakkie skenk as toets voertuig

Ja ja as geld maar net dom was dan het ek hom nou dadelik gevat ,maar die goed is slim want hulle hou hulle skaars en jy kry nie sommer so n klom op eenslag in die hande wat net daar vir jou le en wag nie

Kobus, I have auto front lockers on my Hilux for a few years now, and I am very happy with them. I do not agree with Stef that you can't turn with them. I do feel them on the steering wheel a bit, but nothing like I can't turn with them. I find I can go anywhere that I wan't my vehicle to go with minimum effort and momentum that I used to need before I had them installed. Axle twisters, deep gorges and ruts are a walk in the park, my vehicle climbs everything I need it to like a mountain goat. So that's my experience. I am not a mechanic so do not know the finer details of what they do, but whatever it is it rocks.
Oh and Hoppy installed mine...

By having positive locking differentials (Mechanical lockers) your front wheels lock up during acceleration and thus both front wheels turning at the same time increasing the turning circle drastically in a slippery, incline etc situation. This is due to slip being created as you turn by both wheels turning the same speed and one not giving way... If you don't tend to try climbing things you shouldn't your side shafts should hold just fine.. Try getting up a hill that leaves you with wheel spin on both your back locked wheels locked and front wheel spinning in the air and then grabbing... You most probably will break something...
