HI there
Me and my friends had a debate this weekend about the power outputs of the 07 3.0 hilux vigo and the 2010 3.0 hilux raider. I urgue that they all produce the same power output (stock), the other guys urgue that the hilux vigo is more powerful. i hereby stand to be corrected??? i will only believe this in case of the 2011 vigo
looking at the new hilux, i ask my self why is toyota SA so stiggyyyy?, the REVO is really well equipped as compared to the raider.
WHY IS THE REVO/VIGO ALWAYS HAS BETTER SPECS THAN THE SOUTH AFRICAN ASSEMBLED HILUX

Keep in mind that with every face lift they tinker with the VVTi etc to produce just a bit more power. So the latest version could definitely have more power. But not by a huge margin...

And you are very correct especially when it comes to the new Hilux. I am in Zimbabwe and we started receiving the Revo in November last year. My friend just bought the SA assembled Hilux and it does not have LED lights, key-less entry, Start button like the Lexus, and a few other things. I hope to one day replace my Hilux but i can't wrap my head around buying the SA spec.
