fuses in engine bay
Hey guys, i am wondering what this is in my fuse compartment in the engine bay, it has a blown wire in there and have no idea how to replace or to even buy one! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Ronald. I'm not familiar with this, but then neither am I familiar with the D4d series setups. I see that you have a 2nd battery fitted so it's possible that this was added as an after-market fuse box modification for additional protection. Perhaps some of the D4d owners can shed some light whether its OEM or modified.
Either way it blew for a reason and the circuit that blew should be checked out first.

I might be incorrect but it should indicate on the lid of the fuse box.

Its the fuseable link for the vehicle . The fuses for the alternator , interior fan eg. are in this fuse . Be carefull when replacing useally a faulty alternator causes this fuse to blow , or if it wrongly jumpstarted. They are expensive so make sure there is no shorts on the vehicle before fitting a new one

Thankyou very much for the feedback! I have replaced the alternator as charge light was on and pulley wasnt turning! Now to find a fuseabke link and install! Thx mchilux as i was baffled
