2016 Hilux 4x4 Tyre choice

Hi Chaps.

I have recently bought a new Hilux, 2.8 GD6 4x4. Vehicle has 6000kms

Long story short, been fighting with Bridgestone, 14 tyres later, vehicle still has vibration at 100 - 110km/h.

Next step, they will try a set of the import Bridgestone tyres, but I don't have any faith in these either.

I am pushing for a set of Michelins, the LTX A/T2s. The dealer suggested the Latitude Cross, also an offroad tyre, but listed as SUV/Crossover tyre.

I don't do hectic offroading, places like Sani pass, the local Durban 4x4 trails, planning a trip to Ponta as well.
Would the latitude suffice, anyone have any experience with it on a 4x4 Lux or Tuna?

14 tyres! What rims? Tried balancing the rims by themselves?

Are Coopers available in SA? Grippy, tough tyres. I have the S/T Maxx tyres and no problems yet. They have a good rep in the UK.

Standard 17" wheels.. We had to let Bridgestone balance the wheels, they wouldn't honour the warranty if anyone else balanced it.

They are, not sure if Toyota will agree to it. Will ask them

So spent 3 hours at Bridgestone technical centre last week, all the tyres out of balance.. Rebalanced, still a slight vibration..

So, will be getting a set of Michi's LTX A/T2 fitted on Tuesday, I guess warranty will pay.

On the flipside, went up Sani pass today in the snow, Duelers performed pretty good. Couple of scary moments on some of the more muddy sections, but all in all a decent performance.
