Time To Re Think Pen Postage

Post by Nick S »

Hello People
While I think its a great idea and a really nice accessory for my Lux, could we re look at posting pens with our membership renewals? The reason being, is that mine are getting pinched by the post office  . Have a look.
This is the second time now. The envelope gets re sealed with a tear. Its not a massive issue but its making me a bit tense based on principal.

Nick pop into 4x4 direct east rand and I am sure Neil there will be able to set you up with a Hilux pen. that should work for as long as your average ford, if you are luck!!! so get a couple.

Once the current stock of pens gets low, the committee can put their heads together for a possible alternative, We have discussed it in the past but many suggestions, although desirable, are not always practical. A subject for more thought. :winkx:

My feeling is that anything that we post will probably suffer the same consequence. Not sure why the stickers don't get ripped off though? :?:

Interested to see how the brains trust will navigate this problem. Let me know if I can help in any way.

bulk deliveries by courier to the club-chair in each area ? Members can collect from there ....

NOT ideal, but better than feeding the post-office .....

lost serious money with items going missing at the post office ... so I really try my best to avoid them ....

The club is welcome to send 4x4Direct some pens and we will make sure there is stock in all our shops so that members can collect when they go shopping.

Neil should have some in Boksburg and I think Yolanda have some in Cape Town, so we must just make sure that Louis get some in Centurion and also us in Langebaan.
