SFA Hilux 97 model

Hi guys

I found a 1997 SFA 4x4 2.4 petrol DC that I am interested in buying. Not sure about km yet. The price is R75000. It looks good from the pictures I have seen. Includes AC, PS, BB, RB,TB, radio/cd, canopy. Will the banks finance it ? Is the price reasonable?

I think you should negotiate the price.

You will struggle to get finance, but try Private2Private, form Wesbank. Google for details.
But they will not finance the whole amount. They will look at book value, and maybe finance R5000 or even R10 000 less than book value.

It is to much for it, I bought a 98 Ltd for less and it is in a very good condition, one owner with FHS. The 98 traded for 65K and retail for 79K at a garage so I think you need to negosiate the price.
Then you still have to add all the extras

I Paid R75,000.00 for my 1996 SFA about 4 years ago;definitaley too much for this one:
There was I forsale in Kuilsriver @ Stikland for R35,000.00. about a month ago. its gone by now.

Simon if you realy want a lux and its in realy good condition you must be carefull not to drag it out to long.I bought mine for R70000 and wass offered R95000 for my lux and it wass the very next day after baying the lux.I coudnt believe how people wass after my lux.On a difrent ocation I wass offered R80000 for my lux.On this past Sunday our family took a trip to the Bloodriver monument in the lux and I wass stopped by a bloke that wanted to bay my lux again. So what im trying to say is
that if the lux is in good condition an people comes to now of it its gonna go for sure even if the price is over retail valeu

I agree that these classics go for more that retail etc. I am willing to pay it as well........
... if it is in a good condition. But the good buys are out there as well. A bloke in our 4x4 club bought a 2.4D DC 4x4 SFA in good running condition for R25000. Not sure about the km and model though.
