BFG KM2's

Post by warrenaken »

Ok, so i have seen this topic has been discussed before and on other forums (4x4 community), BUT, i am still undecided. I got a new set of BFG A/T for my standard KZ-TE, now when i wanted to fit them, the guy offered me to swop them for Muds KM2’s. Now i know they look good, , but what is the road handling, especially on wet surfaces like. I see lots of guys running the Muds on weekend SFA’s but what about to work? am i going to regret fuel consumption?
Choices choices

I run KM2's on my daily driver, a 3.2 Triton clubcab and the wet weather road holding has surprised me, much better than other MT's I've had......note that I'm comparing them to other M/T's. The past weekend I drove a 2.5 Triton 4x2 with the standard little Bridgestone H/T's and in comparison to the KM2's they are amazing on wet tar, but I don't want them on my car when I go offroad.

A 4x4 is merely a machine that enables you to get stuck further away from civilization.

Work it out on percentage spent offroad. Pointless putting on a tire that will only be used effectively 20% of it's lifespan. As cool as MT are, they don't make much sense if you use your vehicle as a daily drive... that's my 2 cents.
